Crazy Like A Fox

After a great day with Ripley earning her Working Certificate and reconnecting with some great people at the EPS Working and Hunt test in Powassan ON, I spotted a vixen and her 3 pups playing on the side of the Hemlock road exit into Trout Creek ON. Sadly only 2 of the 4 have been spotted during subsequent sightings.

About Me

I am an empty nester who took to heart my mothers standard answer when denying me the string of strays I brought home and wanted to keep "when you have your own house you can have as many dogs as you want". Now that I'm semi-grown up I share my house with 6 purebred Golden Retrievers along with a good man who is tolerant of my many quirks and follies.

Ian and the dogs are my real life away from my career of 20 + years as an Adolescent Worker in a residential detention and custody facility. They are my solace when I have an IBS flare up and my sounding board when life and frequent insomnia decides to challenge my sanity.

This year both the human and canine family have joined 3 other families in purchasing some land for a recreational camp. 4 families, 13 people and 13 dogs on a hundred acres. Should be good for a laugh or two so grab your coffee and join me as I share some moments both past and present.

Hint: alcohol makes both your coffee and these stories a whole lot better.
